HarborLink Network Partners with Centerville Ohio to Offer High Speed Wireless Internet

Centerville, OH -HarborLink Network, the free high speed wireless internet company announced today the extension of their municipal network to the City of Centerville, OH.

Centerville City Officials have agreed to a contract which would provide the high traffic areas of the city with HarborLink’s service.  Initially, the network will be available in and around the intersections of Franklin St. and Main St., Spring Valley Rd. and Main St., and near Centerville High School along Franklin St.

The City of Centerville now joins other Ohio municipalities including Dayton, Vandalia, Worthington, and Grove City as well as Bellevue, Washington as HarborLink’s elite metro zones.  Rick Tangeman, HarborLink’s President, is optimistic about the growth of the greater Dayton region’s network. “We are pleased with the addition of Centerville to our ever-growing network of municipal wireless systems in the Miami Valley.”, Tangeman said.  “This is the first south Dayton suburb to come on board; extending our vision of a technology corridor in this region.”

HarborLink Network currently owns and operates over 325 locations in 34 states and is continuing to expand.  In addition to their single site venues, most notably Buffalo Wild Wings Grill & Bar restaurants, HarborLink has continued to grow their Municipal network presence, and added venues that include public libraries, college campuses, and public mass transit. HarborLink Network, Ltd., formerly a division of The R.B. Tangeman Co., Inc., was founded in 1999.  HarborLink’s network, as it exists today, began rollout in 2002 and has been praised as a leader in the development of free, advertising-based Wi-Fi hot spots.
