HarborLink Network Expands to
Over 100 Locations in 22 States.
Growth Expected to Top 200 Sites
By 4th Quarter.
Dayton, OH - HarborLink
Network, LLC today announced
that its network of Free,
Wireless Internet Hot Spots has
surpassed the 100 locations mark
and is rapidly expanding.
HarborLink Network President
Rick Tangeman predicts that the
network will surpass 200 sites
by Q4 2005. "We have
planned for this growth and are
excited by the prospects of
becoming the largest, free
wireless Internet provider of
hot spots and municipal
networks", he said.
Fueled by a national contract
with Buffalo Wild Wings Grill &
Bar, HarborLink has quadrupled
in its number of locations since
January 2005. HarborLink
is also rapidly expanding its
metro-zone coverage, most
notably with the partnership
between the network and the City
of Dayton, OH. The City of
Dayton "Hot City" project is a 1
square mile Wi-Fi mesh network
that covers the downtown area
with free Internet. Other
municipalities and large venues
are in the final stages of
negotiations and will be
announced in the near term.
HarborLink Network, LLC,
formerly a division of The R.B.
Tangeman Co., Inc., was founded
in 1999. The network, as
it exists today, began rollout
in 2002 and has been praised as
a leader in the development of
free, advertising-based Wi-Fi
hot spots. For more information,
