The President of HarborLink Network, Rick started with The R.B. Tangeman Co., Inc. in 1989 working as a Manufacturer’s Representative in the engineered metals industry.  Rick founded the wireless LAN Solutions division of The R.B. Tangeman Co., Inc. in early 1995 in anticipation of a growing enterprise market.

While designing, installing and supporting various higher education, healthcare and fortune 500 company wireless networks, The R.B. Tangeman Co., Inc. was introduced to MobileStar Network and signed on as their first outside sales and marketing agent. An unobstructed view to the early “pioneering” days of wireless helped to mold the HarborLink Network hotspot model into what it is today.  In 1999, Rick founded HarborLink Network and in 2005 HarborLink Network, Ltd was formed as its own entity. 

Rick is a skilled leader and has become a known player in the public Wi-Fi industry.

A graduate of the University of Dayton, Tangeman joined the Automotive Systems Division of Reynolds & Reynolds as a Fixed Operations Specialist, focusing on the sales, installation and service of hardware and software in automotive dealerships. He joined The R.B. Tangeman Co., Inc. in 1998 where he developed the HarborLink concept alongside Rick Tangeman. He designed the technical portion of the network as it exists today and personally installed the vast majority of the network sites.

Travis is skilled in project management and dedicated to keeping HarborLink ahead of the technology curve.
